The **Treehotel** is one of our favorite accommodations of the world. The reason? Fulfill our childhood dreams of sleep in the trees combining it with our adult obsessions to do it in an environment of luxury and design . For this reason, we have been especially excited to learn that it recently added a new room to its six suites on the heights: ** The 7th Room **.
This time, the project is carried out by the innovative Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta , which we told you about recently, because we loved his ** Canadian library ** -and ** it was not the first time ** that we echoed his creations...-.
Thus, the studio has achieved a construction that focuses on the nature , to the point that it seems to reflect it.
"The design has large windows, a terrace with a suspended net and a tree that extends through the suite. The boundaries between inside and outside are blurred , making the cabin part of the forest", its creators explain to Traveler.es.

"The 7th Room experience begins when you approach to the cabin from the woods," they continue. "As you approach the base of the tree, the view of the entire cabin gradually recede as a sixth facade appears. This facade is lower part of the hut, where there is an area of 12x8 meters covered with a large Print in black and white of trees reaching towards the sky".
At that point, you will take the dizzying ladder that will take you to your room with a view; luggage will go up lift.
A terrace for the brave
This combination of the traditional and the modern is present in all of Snøhetta's creation. Thus, the seventh room is built as a typical nordic hut , with a wooden facade covered with pine boards. Until five people can rest and enjoy in its two bedrooms, the suspended terrace and the lounge, divided into two floors.
Outside, the Dark color of the facade is achieved burning the surface, so that it does not need any type of maintenance. Inside, however, the look is up-to-date and in light colors; from there, snuggled up, through the large windows, **you will see the northern lights.**
