“The concept of 'Sea Walls' first emerged in 2012 when our creative director and artist, Aaron Glasson, painted a mural in a remote area of Sri Lanka that addressed the overexploitation of manta rays”, tells us Akira Biondo, co-founder of ** Pangea Seed Foundation **.

“The response from the community was overwhelmingly positive and reaffirmed our belief in art as a universal language and common ground for cultures around the world,” she notes.

“Our last large-scale graffiti took place in Cozumel , ** Mexico **, in the spring of this year. It was the second time we had brought 'Sea Walls' to this beautiful island and it was a great honor to be asked to return by the community." Akira Biondo tells us.

“The overpopulation of the planet has created many problems such as overfishing, pollution, ocean acidification, biodiversity loss and degradation of marine habitats , among others. We are destroying the ecosystems on which our existence depends so much”, reveals the co-founder of the PangeaSeed Foundation.
