The Guinness Book of Records has been blunt: the Gevora Hotel , which opened just a month ago, is the tallest in the world . And it is, of course, in the city of architectural extravagances : Dubai . There, his goal to stand out among so much excessive luxury -beyond his 356 meters - is to provide the guest with a deal exceptionally personalized.
"Each plant has a own butler, in order to minimize any delay in service that could occur in a hotel of this height. They are on duty during all day to attend to every need of the clients", explains Elham Barkhdale, public relations of the accommodation. Now, what delay can there be? Another particularity of the Gevora: the vast size of its 528 rooms and suites, which range from 46 to 85 square meters. Another one?: in its five restaurants, with national and international specialties, the hotel offers halal food and does not serve alcohol. "Guests looking to stay in a 'dry' hotel already have a exclusive address to go to," says Barkhdale.
In addition, the pool has views of another colossus, the Burj Khalifa , which holds the title of "tallest building in the world" . Yes, in Gévora everything is hyperbole. Also on the roof -precisely, where that pool we were talking about is located-, well, it's the tallest in Dubai, and offers an overview of 360º about this fascinating city invented on a piece of desert.
