First impression: we have not crossed the doors and the good vibrations have already taken over our step. The flowers on the facade anticipate something that will be confirmed shortly afterwards: here it is impossible not to smile.
The colors, the feeling of freedom, the good vibes, the hippie spirit... Everything indicates (and confirms) that we have come here to have a good time, to enjoy, to disconnect and, let's confess, to fill our Instagram with flowers, smileys, hearts and unicorns. Welcome!
Location: the hotel is located in the town of Es Pujols, the main tourist center of the island, where there are all kinds of services (restaurants, shops, supermarkets, pharmacy, etc.) and the beautiful beach of Es Pujols, which you can see from the terrace of the hotel itself.
The famous beach of Ses Illetes and the port of La Savina are both less than ten minutes away by car (or a quarter of an hour by bike), while getting to Migjorn beach, Es Caló or Cala Saona will take no more than fifteen minutes. As you can see, there is no better center of operations to discover Formentera.

Bedrooms: The hotel has 79 rooms and suites with sea and pool views and offers one of the things that Traveler considers essential to pass our 'Anatomy of a Bed' test: pillow menu.

The jewel –or in this case the flower– of the crown is the Grand Flower Suite: 57 square meters of surface and a round bed of 2.2 meters in diameter from which to see sunrise and sunset between cottons.
This suite – which will be difficult for you to leave – has a bathtub integrated into the room, as well as private hot tub on the terrace and a sofa bed for two additional people.

Design and style: the unmistakable spirit flower power it runs through the hotel from the lobby to the roof, passing through the spa, the facade and each and every one of the rooms. The hippie aesthetic impregnates all the rooms with furniture from the 60s and 70s, the color white as a canvas and vibrant notes of color scattered throughout.
In addition, the hippie chic style mixes and coexists perfectly with enveloping and avant-garde lines resulting in a hotel that invites disconnection, spreads good vibes and emanates happiness.

Gastronomy: the hotel has two restaurants, Imagine and Janis, both under the direction of chef Sara Valls. Her passion for local products and simple cuisine are reflected in a proposal based on raw materials and dotted with contrasts that will be familiar to our palates but will also bring the occasional surprise.
Janis is open for dinner only and is the flagship restaurant of the Five Flowers. It's found on the top floor, with impressive views of the sea, where most of the dishes on the menu come from.
"The name is a tribute to Janis Joplin, muse of the movement and hippie and rock star, musical genre that also found its niche on the island in the 60s and 70s”, they explain from the hotel.
The kilometer 0 product is the key in Janis, since its menu takes a true culinary journey through the island's gastronomy: from the famous Formentera tomato (it is essential to try the Valls version stuffed with burrata) to the San Pedro rooster, passing through the red prawn, the peix sec and the black pig.

Figs, sobrassada and hibiscus are also essential ingredients in Janis, as well as oysters and lobster.

Imagine, meanwhile, you are by the pool on the lower level. Its informal and carefree proposal ranges from light dishes and tasty snacks to Mediterranean classics such as rice dishes and fish of the day. Don't miss the Sunday brunch.

The rooftop: the panoramic elevator takes us straight to The Sky , located on the top floor of the hotel. Their 360 degree views They offer an incredible spectacle, especially at sunset, when the blue sea turns red, orange and purple until finally the sun gives way to the moon.
Whether to enjoy an aperitif, a cocktail or even a dinner, The Sky has become the meeting point for the town of Es Pujols (and for the entire island).
The Sky Cocktail Club menu offers a varied selection of bites and dishes to share, from vegan options such as beetroot tartare and aubergine hummus, to fish and seafood dishes such as pickled tuna and salt-cooked red prawn, as well as original proposals such as the pork rib hot dog.
Mixology puts the icing on the cake to the experience on this rooftop, with a formidable selection of distillates and exuberant proposals such as Sunset (saffron gin, yuzu juice and pepperoncino oil) and Illeta (grapefruit juice, red grapes, fig jam, citrus oil saccharum and kombucha).

The pool: What is the best way to end a day at the beach? Exact! With a dip in the pool! The hotel has a swimming pool on the lower floor and an infinity pool on the top floor, whose waters merge with the sea of Formentera creating a postcard dotted with a thousand shades of blue.
The spa: inspired by the colors of the island, the spa is an authentic oasis of peace and tranquility , at the height of the five stars of the hotel. It has a thermal circuit, jacuzzi, ice fountain, heated loungers, sauna and Turkish bath, and massage cabins – which you can enjoy individually or as a couple.
All facial and body treatments are performed with Alqvimia organic products (a signature that if it is not already, it will become essential on your return to the city).
And for those who do not forgive training or during the holidays, the wellness area also houses a fitness room.
