Harry Potter flagship store opens its doors in New York!
Updated on the day: 04/27/21. Dear Wizards, Witches and Muggles of the world: We know that is never enough when it comes to the Harry Potter universe.
Movie marathons, exhibitions, trains, theme parks, gala dinners in the Great Hall of Hogwarts... But the magic is what it has: we always want more.
And our wishes have been granted: On June 3, 2021, Warner Bros. will open the official Harry Potter flagship store in New York!

Harry Potter New York will be located in the heart of the Big Apple, next to the emblematic Flatiron Building at 935 Broadway and will house the largest collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts merchandise under one roof.
The new space sets a new standard for themed retail, combining stunning design, exquisite craftsmanship, handcrafted accessories, exciting interactive elements and exclusive merchandise. inviting fans to experience the Wizarding World in a whole new way.
With three floors and more than 21,000 square feet (about 1,900 square meters), the store has 15 different themed areas, each carefully and uniquely presented.
"The level of artistic detail and quality of the movie-inspired design means that Harry Potter New York will bring a whole new shopping experience to the city." said Sarah Roots, executive vice president of Warner Bros. Worldwide Tours and Retail.
More than 1,800 square meters spread over three floors where we can find from Custom Layers, Chocolate Frogs, and All-Flavor Dragees from Bertie Bott to a new collection of wands designed exclusively for the flagship store.
"With over 1,000 Wizarding World props on display (including some authentic items from the movies), the incredible theme, coupled with experiences like photo opportunities and the fantastic range of merchandise, there will always be something special here for every fan," added Roots.

CROSSING THE THRESHOLD OF FANTASY
Upon entering the store, customers will pass under a massive model of the phoenix Fawkes that stands guard from the ceiling. Fawkes was created especially for Harry Potter New York by a team of specialist accessory makers that took several months to make.
The impressive phoenix weighs more than 220 pounds (almost 100 kilos) and it is just one of many handcrafted pieces, down to the finest detail, each one created to surprise and delight customers as they explore the flagship.
After greeting Fawkes, witches, wizards and Muggles are in for a series of exciting experiences. Any corner of the store invites to be photographed. For example, you'll be able to pose in a typical London phone booth – who knows, you might end up teleporting to the Ministry of Magic – or even look like you're inside Hagrid's boots!
For those who have always dreamed of bringing their favorite Harry Potter character to life, The interactive wand table lets you choose a wand and put it to the test.
Harry Potter New York incorporates digital technologies throughout the store, including integration with the Harry Potter Fan Club app. Users will find a number of enchanted keys distributed throughout the space, that unlock behind-the-scenes trivia and exclusive videos.

THE MAGIC OF VIRTUAL REALITY
Two exciting immersive multiplayer virtual reality experiences will also be available. The fully sensory virtual reality adventures are based on location, allowing a real-time interactive exploration of the Wizarding World like never before.
Chaos at Hogwarts allows witches and wizards – we don't know if it will also be Muggle-friendly – to take a magical journey to Hogwarts Castle. and become part of the adventure where incredible magical creatures and fascinating secrets await.
In Wizards Take Flight, you'll need to have your wand at the ready and all your senses alert as you fly on a broomstick and embark on a battle against Death Eaters over the skies of London and around the enchanting grounds of Hogwarts.
The Chaos At Hogwarts and Wizards Take Flight virtual reality experiences are scheduled to open in stores this summer and more details will be revealed soon.

THE PERFECT (MAGICAL) GIFT
What to give to the Harry Potter fan who has everything? You will find the answer in the Personalization Area , which offers a healthy dose of inspiration and unique products. So you can bring your fandom to life and choose from a host of customization options, including engrave a wand, engrave a journal, or embroider a robe from one of the four Houses with your name.
you will also find Chocolate Frogs and Candies of all flavors by Bertie Bott in an area inspired by the extravagant surroundings of Honeydukes . Once you've had a look at the treats, head over to the tree Plum airship, an area where you can find the stuffed animal of your favorite magical creature.
In the great main atrium of the shop, stands the majestic griffin that guards the entrance to Dumbledore's office. Nearby, you'll find the Wand Shop, where you can browse through more than 50 pieces inspired by characters, locations and accessories from the Wizarding World, including the Golden Snitch wand, exclusive to Harry Potter New York.

The store will house the only Casa MinaLima in the United States. MinaLima is the design studio founded by Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima that is behind the graphic props for the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts movies.
The graphic design duo have created a gallery and shop where graphic art from the Wizarding World will be on display and fans of the series will be able to behold covers of the Daily Prophet, The Quibbler or Harry's acceptance letter at Hogwarts, all hand-designed by MinaLima in a space inspired by her iconic London store.
Harry Potter New York also has many products from the Fantastic Beasts saga. , a series of five films whose sequel we look forward to.
In addition to the main collection of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts merchandise, the store is home to a variety of collaborations with brands such as Spirit Jerseys, Loungefly bags or Pottery Barn Teen.

Harry Potter New York joins the Warner Bros portfolio of experiences as follows: Wizarding World –Warner Bros. Studio Tour London– The Making of Harry Potter and Platform 9 ¾ retail stores–.
The store will open with a virtual queuing system . Thus, when customers visit the store, they will scan a QR code to join the virtual queue and return when notified.
The store will follow all CDC guidelines, opening with reduced capacity to ensure that physical distance can be maintained at all times. All customers will be required to wear a mask.
