The Museum of Ice Cream returns to New York

The **Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) ** opened its doors in New York the last December. Without a doubt, it is the new place-to-be ‘instagrammable’ of the city, with more than a dozen amazing facilities distributed over three floors.

It is not the first time that this fascinating museum displays its colorful installations in the Big Apple . He landed in New York almost three years ago, then **invaded Los Angeles and San Francisco**, and now he's back with his traditional pop up format -though rumored to be permanent – to one of the trendiest neighbourhoods, the soho.

A purely interactive place that invites you to immerse yourself in a universe of delicious multisensory experiences . Dare to lose yourself among artificial sweets in a large pool, in a giant bee hive, a spiral slide , a banana room... or in a space dedicated exclusively to the sumptuous world of Milkshake.

Although, perhaps, one of the public's favorite spaces is the pink structure inspired by the New York subway (Warning: You'll want to take more than one photo on this site, as did actress Blake Lively while her husband, Ryan Reynolds, frolicked in the colorful hot tub).

In any case, if you are not too motivated by this type of exhibition, you can choose to drink something hot in the **MOIC cafe (free access)** or dive into its store to acquire any of the products offered.

“MOIC NYC is a dream that our team has been developing for 3 years . More than 1.5 million guests have walked through our doors and given us a lot of information and inspiration," describes Maryellis Bunn, Co-Founder and Creative Director of MOIC to Traveler.es.

The location chosen for this installation is not accidental, since the itinerant museum –at least until its permanence is confirmed– has been inspired by the soho art history and wants to contribute to the revival of the neighborhood as a place for imagination and creativity. Thus, it aims connect people and create moments of joy through ice cream.

This is the first experience , of the many that will be launched over the next 18 months, not only in the USA but also around the world. Will the Ice Cream Museum arrive in Spain or, at least, in Europe? From the organization they neither confirm nor deny.

Admission includes an ice cream tasting and can be visited from Monday to Sunday (except Tuesdays when it will be closed). MOIC will be open to the public until March 1, 2020.
