Previously, they will be exhibited from May 4 to 6 at the Carlos de Antwerp Foundation , located on Claudio Coello street in Madrid.

The Ritz celebrated its opening October 2, 1910 , inaugurated by King Alfonso XIII and Queen Victoria Eugenia . A few years earlier, the Swiss pioneer Cesar Ritz had established the first luxury hotel in the world in the French capital.

The monarch, amazed at the Ritz's ** Paris ** and London , wanted César Ritz to leave his stamp on every nook and cranny of this baroque palace in Madrid. The father of modern hospitality hired Charles Mewes , the brilliant architect of the parisian ritz , to lead the project. He also enlisted the help of Spanish architects Luis de Landecho and Lorenzo Gallego.
