In the installation you can see three circular rings of a colossal dimension, a work that invites you to sit down, rest, read or have lunch in one of London's most vibrant areas.

It was a very interesting process of creation and placement, since the material was responding in an unexpected way as they progressed through the project. Above all, the challenge was to cut the boards at different angles to shape curves effortlessly , as reported to Traveler.es from the Paul Cocksedge study.

It is worth highlighting the exterior of the work, which has also been treated in a peculiar way to achieve a gorgeous aesthetic . Once the installation completes its cycle, next October 11 , it will be recycled in its entirety.

Cocksedge has been convened by Broadgate and British Land, the property company, with the aim of create a transcendental project as part of this year's London Design Festival. The request gave clear way to Paul's study , although it also proved to be a challenge at the same time.

Both parties demanded to produce a work that serves the community , with a strict condition: it was not possible to block the way or the passage of Finsbury Avenue Square, where thousands of people circulate daily.

The social architecture has gained relevance in recent years, and although this may not be an example that meets all the requirements of this aspect, definitely seeks to improve the area where it has been placed and generate a social impact.

"We had hoped that people would interact a lot with the work and, so far, they have," claim from Paul Cocksedge. Temporary installations always have their limitations, but with the help of their engineering friends at Arup, it was much easier than they imagined.
