Lavender , located in the town of Comporta, is an old bakery converted into a clothing and household items store , all organic and natural. Linen, thread and cotton are the materials that prevail in clothing. And to go to the beach, the multi-patterned Paez sneakers, of Argentine origin, seem essential here. Almost everyone wears them, at all ages.

**Contemporary design has its space in the Vera Iachia show-room ** run by Tina Kron, located on the main street of the village of Carvalhal, it has a beautiful interior patio with an orchard. There Vera displays the best pieces of her: avant-garde furniture with natural materials from the area that are part of the decoration of the best cabins and surrounding houses.
Photography exhibitions by artists such as Jean Michel Voge or Luiz Saldanha are also organized. Vera describes her passion for Comporta: "Autumn is a magical time, nature is in full swing and there is a tranquility and calm that is difficult to find"

The salt, it is a beach bar on Praia do Pego where its exquisite seafood, its grilled fish or its carabineros with wild rice exert the "call effect" to a diverse and faithful public that fills it every day.

Pego Beach , an infinite beach of clean white sand bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, which despite its strong waves invites you to swim. It is in the area near the La Sal restaurant or the ice cream or sandwich huts where, in addition, great cocktails are served to the rhythm of a DJ who comes every afternoon to accompany the sunset with music.
If you walk five minutes from this point, the beach is completely wild, with dunes and few people. In addition, there are paths of orchards and rice fields that can be traveled on foot or by bicycle. It is a fruit and vegetable area and a fluvial ecosystem, with the Sado River estuary, populated by hundreds of species of seabirds, storks and herons.
