The Maps app for iPhone, iPad and Mac shows the covid measurements of airports
Quarantine at destination or certificate with negative result? Antigen test or PCR? Made 48 or 72 hours before the departure date?
If for any reason, you have had to catch a plane in recent months, you will have encountered restrictions and measures that change according to the country of origin, the destination, the airport and yes, even according to the day in which we consult them.
To make it easier for travelers at the airport, the Maps app has started to show the covid measures of the airports attached to the Airports Council International (more than 300 worldwide).
Now the Maps app informs you of all covid measures at airports
Thus, those who travel with a iPhone, iPad, or Mac can easily access airport health requirements, such as use of masks, requirement of covid tests and quarantine guidelines.
This latest effort by Apple aims to help users better deal with the pandemic and help prevent the spread of the virus.
To make use of this new feature, It is not necessary to update the operating system or the app itself. we just have to search for an airport on Maps and click on the 'covid-19' section, containing a summary of the measures of that airport and a link to the airport's website with detailed information as well as local requirements for passengers.
