**CHANGES TO SOUTH STREET SEAPORT**
The reconversion of Manhattan Seaport continues to go from strength to strength with the inauguration of one of its most famous docks. Pier 17 closed in 2012 after the passage of Hurricane Sandy, which flooded the entire coast of southern Manhattan.
The new building will have four floors with a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The new World Trade Center takes another step towards its completion with the inauguration of Tower 3. The skyscraper has 80 floors that raise it to 329 meters high and it is the work of the British architect Richard Rogers.
