Only she could do something like that... and she could only be in Pedraza. It was a few months ago when Samantha Vallejo-Nágera she told us that she was about to fulfill a dream –another– in her beloved Segovian corner, where she has been organizing weddings and events with De Natura for years.
Now that dream is already a reality, it's called Tavern House and has no loss: in the very Plaza Mayor, in which one day was the town's tavern, today the fire crackles again not only from the grill, but also from the chimneys of its six rooms, why this tavern now it is also a hotel. A small hotel / great hotel, we could say, because it is tiny but huge.
The rehabilitation of the building, a mansion from the 17th century, has been preserving its Castilian essence and with the impeccable seal –and taste– of Mafalda Muñoz, Samantha's sister and creator of the Casa Muñoz interior design studio.
In the kitchen, broths served in a clay glass, chickpea stews, chops with peppers and chips and grilled vegetables They are the reflection of the resounding austerity that surrounds every corner.
