This new accommodation located in the town of Fuentemilanos (Segovia) It does not arise by chance, but rather from a long process of labor evolution. We found it just 75km from Madrid and 18km from Segovia , in a family farm with 300 hectares of land infinity and where fauna and flora of the area are some of its main claims.
“It is an original farmhouse from 1800 converted into a unique experience, which combines traditional Segovian architecture and the comforts of a luxury Bed&Breakfast , thanks to the extraordinary work of the interior designer Isabel López-Quesada and Rocío (my mother), the owner who has rescued pieces from family attics and auctions to decorate the hotel with her own style, ”she tells Traveler.es Lucia Perez-Durias Ureta , daughter of Rocío and in charge of running the day-to-day at Hotel Caserío Aldeallana.
Lucía is one of the links without whom the establishment would not make sense, but It is the whole family who works together every day with the intention that this beautiful project goes ahead: “My father takes care of all the administration; my mother is the architect of the decoration together with Isabel, as well as of the order of the hotel, of having everything ready and careful; my little sister, Rocío, has managed the entire internal part of hotel management for us; María, my middle sister, works in another sector and helps morally and finally I (Lucía), take care of the day to day, the relationship with the guests and the reservations. In addition, I am in charge of the kitchen in the hotel, which is my great passion”, says Lucía enthusiastically. Always accompanied by Victoria Cubo, the Finca Aldeallana salesperson for weddings, who helps and has been a great support at all times.
Everything is designed to make you feel at home or even better
The idea of creating a Boutique hotel as this one arose as a result of the celebration of weddings in the estate. Before they had little town house , with three rooms for the bride and groom's family They were getting married on the farm. “But sometimes it was a bit small and people were looking for a little more privacy , so one day we decided encourage us to expand it a boutique hotel that, in addition to serving the closest guests and family members of the bride and groom, could also welcome people from outside the wedding who were looking for peace and tranquility”, comments Lucía Pérez-Durias Ureta.
And finally, after months of uncertainty due to the coronavirus (they had planned to open in Easter 2020), on July 3 it opened its doors to welcoming the first guests in the rarest and most different summer of all , the one that invites you to escape to rural areas such as Hotel Caserío Aldeallana.
Lucía and her parents spent their confinement in the family home on the farm, which made it easier for them to make a lot of progress during the quarantine when it came to make important decisions calmly and without haste . A time that, despite the fact that it has been accompanied by hard times (especially in the bridal sector, which has been so affected by this year's cancellations), has served to set everything up and leave nothing to chance.
“The moment work could start, Isabel and her team came to the farm with everything that was missing to finish off the decoration, they were super fast and that meant that we were able to inaugurate as soon as the borders between provinces were opened. in my house we are extremely perfectionists and we wanted to have even the smallest detail ready for the arrival of the guests, and the truth is that this has not been easy. But we've made it! ”, acknowledges Lucia.

WHEN THE HOTEL IS DIFFERENT
And what does the traveler find as soon as he sets foot in the place? This establishment has five double rooms all different with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside (for next summer they plan to expand to five more rooms, thanks to the construction of some warehouses within the same plot), a cozy living room with fireplace and bar area, dining room, private kitchen, porch, garden, a main patio where you can enjoy among jasmine, a wonderful hermitage, a chillout with hammocks and outdoor shower, a small organic garden... And now they just opened a small pool!
“In Caserio Aldeallana we respect the environment and we try that everything we offer is of natural and ecological origin . In addition, guests only have to tell us what they like and we take care of making it possible. In Aldeallana each client is unique and we make ourselves available to you so that you always feel comfortable and make the most of the experience”, indicates Lucia Pérez-Durias Ureta.
Therefore, once at the hotel, users will be given a folder with recommendations, practical information, places of interest or plans to do during the stay . Already in the room the sheets chosen with care and detail by Rocío, fresh cut flowers from the garden , a thermos of fresh water on the bedside tables and the best decoration welcome each guest in a personal and unique way.

Organize a pre-wedding by the light of the verbena-type candles in the patio of our farmhouse, the link the next day in the garden of Aldeallanita, and why not a brunch or paellas on sunday ”, suggests Lucia.
Best of all, they have several spaces to organize all this without repeating and offering a country wedding of the most versatile and careful to detail . For the decoration and design of this new proposal for rural accommodation, it has been the prestigious interior designer Isabel López-Quesada with more than twenty years of experience behind her in the sector, in creating the best atmosphere of peace, tranquility and luxury in all rooms of the house.
Both Rocío and Isabel form the perfect tandem and have taken care of this project from start to finish on which they have been working for more than a year, creating the ideal vacation destination to recharge batteries and get away from time to time from the hustle and bustle of the capital. “My mother has had a large warehouse for years with things inherited and rescued from old family houses , there are real gems, and Isabel has been able to give life to several of them by coexisting with her pieces”, continues Lucía.
When it comes to finding inspiration, the architect and interior designer has turned to the vision of a country house, simple, elegant, jacket and comfortable . And the result could not have been more successful!
