Condé Nast Traveler: Can you share with us your in-flight skin care ritual?
Violette: First, I clean my face. I use a cleansing milk and rinse it off with a Uriage water spray (I spray my face with this product a lot during my flights). And for long flights, I'm not shy about using Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair PowerFoil Mask . If not, I like to use Uriage Roseliane cream after my serum Advanced Night Repair.
Q: What are your best travel beauty tips that anyone can follow?
A: I don't wear makeup on the plane and I like to keep my skin as clean as possible. I drink a lot of water and moisturize my skin very well during the flight . Q: A place where you fell in love.
A: New York, I fell in love with my friend one night. He had always been the love of my life, but it took me a few years to realize it, until one night in the fall of 2014. New York brought him to me, and so did our home, my job, and our daughter. New York is my lucky star.

Q: What airline, ranch or train have set your pace and why?
A: I love Cathay Airways. I was lucky enough to travel on business with them from Paris to Tokyo for a client. The space, the comfort, but above all: the service! I was amazed. Q: What song always reminds you of vacations?
A: My partner and I did a road trip through Brazil for a month that changed our lives. That trip was the most incredible experience ever. We went to very hidden wild places and discovered the world. One day we should share our photos and stories about that trip, about everything that happened and about that impressive landscape. Since then, I listen to bossa nova every day , a piece of my heart stayed there and listening to it takes me there.
Q: What is your favorite place in the whole world?
A: If I'm honest, my house! When you travel so much and live on the road, the simple life at home is very valuable. It connects me with reality, it puts my feet on the ground. It is a very simple moment in my life and one that I appreciate very much. If I had to choose another place, I would say Japan. I traveled around Japan for two weeks and it was one of my most memorable experiences.

Q: What is your favorite place for a vacation at home?
A: The Brooklyn Botanic Garden , especially in spring to see the cherry blossom and the slope of the park that I love to walk for hours with my daughter, we always discover little paths. We always visit Stone Barn, we watched the farm animals, had tea and a scone at their cafe, and walked the nearest paths.
Q: With your hand on your heart, if you were forced to answer, of all your hotels, trips, tours, villas or destinations, which would be your favorite?
A: By far, Upper House in Hong Kong , my most amazing hotel experience.
