Condé Nast Traveler: A travel anecdote that you have not confessed until now?

A: Actually, I never tell anyone anything about my travels... I just disappear for 30 days And then I reappear as if nothing had happened.

Q: Your favorite little secret hotel?

A: The hotel The Tsitouras Collection in Santorini, Greece , it's quite a show. It is owned by our dear friends Elena and Giorgos , who have excellent taste in art and decoration.

Q: Your favorite classic hotel in the whole world?

A: The Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc in the south of France is the most fantastic place: it has that authentic and classic aura that you see in those golden age movies

Q: A great little place away from the crowd?

A: If I told you, everyone would want to go there! But I'm sure it will be mentioned during this interview...

Q: If you could feast on one restaurant right now, what would it be?

A: There is a small greek taverna, on the island of patmos , which is located on a beach made of the most beautiful stones you have ever seen. It is owned by a very traditional Greek family, with grandma in charge of the kitchen . She makes me feel at home. There are no words to describe how great the food is.

**Q: The book you read that inspired you to travel or at least dream of a place...**

A: When I was 17 years old, I read a book about Mariano Fortuny , which was great Spanish designer and artist who lived in Venice most of his life. That same year, luckily, I was able to go to visit his palace . And to this day, I still go to Venice every year.

Q: The movie that surprised you with its location?

A: I saw again The contempt of Jean-Luc Godard after many years, and that scene where Michel Piccoli climbs the staircase at the rear of the Villa Malaparte , looking at the cliff and the ocean in Capri... It is perhaps the most beautiful architecture film I have ever seen.

Q: What is the best store you have discovered while traveling and what did you buy there?
