For the seventh time the Amsterdam Light Festival , the light show that has been making the heart of the Dutch capital shine from November 29 . Regarding the creators of the works of art, Jeroen Henneman has been the guest of honor on this occasion, who designed the installation Two Lamps for the festival and a smaller version, One Lamp , which is available in limited edition through the festival.
Lips designed with red light bulbs by Taiwanese studio UxU , which when looking at the profile projection become the beat of a heart, or the sculpture of the British Gali May Lucas , in which three figures have their faces illuminated by the screens of a smartphone , are some of the avant-garde creations.

Pure magic
Serbian artists **Ivana Jelić (architect) and Pavle Petrović (AAA game programmer)** have recreated Van Gogh's 'The Starry Night' -in just ten days- with a set of lights that has the sky as a backdrop background.
“We have created separate art installations in the past, but this is the first time we have done a light installation and also the first time we collaborated with each other ”, Ivana Jelić tells us.
“Van Gogh, and especially **The Starry Night, has always been a true inspiration to us. On the other hand, we are concerned about light pollution**, which manifests itself as the absence of nights with stars. By combining these two facts, we deliver a strong message about this natural phenomenon that once stood before the painter's eyes." continues explaining Jelić.
The objective of this hypnotic piece, as Ivana Jelić tells us, is that visitors could gaze at the stars for a long period of time, so shines with great subtlety.
“We also wanted people to be drawn to a familiar image and then explore it. from another perspective ”, points out the Serbian architect.
