The authors of this wonder, Simon Doury and Etienne Ferrier , have analyzed the color palettes of thousands of works of art so that you can compare your photos with a huge artistic background.

The most similar result, according to the tones collected by the different samples of the tool, leads us to the karaoke bars and neon lights in the big Asian cities and in particular, to Romain Jacquet-Lagreze's photography called 'Golden Mongkok Karaoke' . This snapshot, taken in Hong Kong, turns out to be the most similar work of art (chromatically) to a Madrid sunset.

And what work of art would you say the Guell park ? Of the first twenty results, eighteen are works of street art and graffiti. Gaudí, without knowing it, a graffiti artist.

HOW ART PALETTE WORKS
The experiment of Art Palette It is born from the analysis and registration of thousands of works of art and their color patterns, tone by tone.
That way, when you upload a photo, you can select what tones will be analyzed (moving the different circles of the image with the mouse) and automatically these will be related to those works that have all the tones.
Also, by selecting any artwork, you can check what are their "twins" by colors or let yourself be carried away by clicking on the button 'surprise me'.
