This Halloween don't stay home.
The current situation is going to mark our possibilities when it comes to celebrating Halloween this year. Here are some recommendations to do it in a terrifying and safe way.
COVEN IN THE CINEMA
Like every year, film distributors will take advantage of Halloween to launch their most terrifying premieres. Starting on Friday, October 30, we will have Las Brujas (by Roald Dahl), an adaptation of the homonymous book by Robert Zemeckis, and Young people and witches, remake of the 1996 film whose title says it all. More daring is She dies tomorrow, where Amy Seimetz mixes thriller and comedy. The Spanish proposal is The hill of the gods, rural terror set in a town in Castilla-La Mancha. And the little ones in the house can go see Trolls 2: World Tour, the sequel to these animated little creatures.
SERIES MARATHON
If we are going to choose to stay home with popcorn and a blanket, we will have countless genre series on the different platforms. The Haunting of Hill House is the latest and greatest adaptation of The Haunting (Shirley Jackson's book), ten chapters loaded with psychological terror. The same format has its sequel, The Haunting of Bly Manor, which adapts the novel by Henry James and has just been released (both are on Netflix).
The boys (Amazon Prime Video) is causing a sensation with its two seasons on the dark side of superheroes, a mixture of science fiction, comedy and a touch of gore.
If we want something more underground, Channel zero (Syfy) is a horror anthology with four seasons independent based on different creepypastas (urban legends of the Internet).

THEME PARKS
Practically all the theme parks already adapt their programming from October to Halloween. Warner Park in Madrid offers up to four passages of terror: Freddy Krueger, La llorona, Warren Files and The Animated Forest (for children), as well as the musical Delirium, with themes ranging from Metallica to Rocky Horror Picture Show.
PortAventura (Tarragona) closed its doors after the measures dictated by the Government on October 15, but hopes to open on the 31st to reactivate your Halloween campaign, with horror passages from the movie [REC] or shows where horror and western are mixed. If so, it would last until November 15.
For its part, Madrid Amusement Park celebrates Halloween with two musicals, Nocturnia and The Band of the Dead, in addition to four passages of terror: Nosferatu, The walking dead experience, The old mansion and Director's cut.

ESCAPE ROOMS
There are many escape rooms specialized in horror, and many other rooms that program something special for Halloween. The place with the highest level and offer is Barcelona, where Whitechapel offers Charlotte's Story (based on Jack the Ripper). For its part, the production company Horror Box (specializing in terrifying events) has three horrifying escapes: Jigsaw, Ouija and Catalepsy.
In Bilbao we will find Lilith's doll shop, where the most apprehensive will be able to play a light version.
In Madrid there is a crowd: Madrid Terror organizes Paranormal Experience, where it mixes elements of Poltergeist, Stranger things, Insidious and The Exorcist. But there are many others: The Owl, Underworld, The Forest, Slaughterhouse, Trapped in the movies, The Balaguer curse... Action House, the favorite of many 'escaperos' fans, has organized the special Mental limits.
Fans of The Curse of Amityville have to visit the Ingenius Escape Room in Elche. The Valladolid Escape Room CB has planned the special Halloween Bayaka. In Valencia, we can visit the Hotel Abaddon or try to escape from The Nun. And in Granada we will have the chance to play Hide and Seek.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
If ours is to move, but in outdoor spaces, there are the most interesting proposals. Gore Island is a gigantic passage of terror built in Canyamars (Barcelona) to run terrified throughout 20,000 square meters.
For its part, Rebombori cultural will hold the Theatrical route of the hanged man to discover the most macabre Valencia on October 30 and 31.
From Terrorlicante they have organized their Hallowfest for yet another year, the Alicante Terror Festival, which in its sixth edition will be entitled Manicomius. There will be activities for all ages, from escape rooms and passages of terror to themed dinners through a children's party.
The most original that we have found, without a doubt, is the Hoz de Jaca proposal, small town of Alto Gállego (Huesca).
