A SUSTAINABLE PROJECT
The Czech entrepreneur, investor, filmmaker and collector, Vaclav Dejmar, is behind **Zuri Zanzibar.** He visited the island a few years ago thanks to a friend who was hiking and fell in love with it, he says because of the joy of its people and the white sand. So he decided to buy it.
He remarks that his project has wanted to flee from mass tourism , that is why with the creation of this hotel they collaborate with the protection of the tanzania barrier reef . “We are trying to connect guests with nature and in turn help them connect with themselves,” says Václav.
From his love for Tanzania and Zanzibar o Unguja has written a book about everyday life on the island which he has called "Why I fell in love with Zanzibar" and which will be released next year.
