'Meet Vincent Van Gogh', the sensory exhibition to touch, hear and see the artist in Barcelona
It is a reality: interactive, panoramic, multimedia exhibitions are here to stay. An artist who gave life to his paintings by giving them movement, a room to stay inside his paintings, baristas who use latte art to reproduce the works in the foam of a coffee, a film through his paintings, a multimedia exhibition in Madrid and Seville .. and Willen Dafoe playing the genius in a biopic that will hit theaters in a few months. What is going on with Van Gogh?
Meet Vincent Van Gogh
For now, what happens is that Van Gogh going to get to Barcelona without having a single painting exposed in the room. Or rather, in the rooms: six stages distributed in more than 1,500 m2 (it is a tent located in Pla de Miquel Tarradell, Port Vell ) will take you through the work and life of the Dutch artist in an interactive experience, to touch, see and even listen to the painter's mind.
The exhibition arrives in Barcelona on March 14, after passing through Amsterdam and having achieved great success (it received a THEA award in 2016 for the best immersive exhibition). Not surprisingly, this experience has been designed by the **Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam itself.** “The arrival of Meet Vincent Van Gogh to Barcelona makes our dream come true of bringing the life and work of Van Gogh closer to millions of people around the world", explains Adriaan Donszelmann , manager of the Van Gogh Museum in an official press release.

The exhibition, designed to All ages , aims to reach the public in a plastic and tangible way, thus bringing art closer than ever to the senses. In the different scenarios, you also play with the multisensoriality and immersive experiences.
