The Harvest, Van Gogh (1888)

The RKD – Netherlands Institute for Art History, the Van Gogh Museum and the Kröller-Müller Museum have joined forces to create Van Gogh Worldwide, a free digital platform that brings together more than a thousand works by the Dutch painter.

The objective of this initiative is to present technical, historical and artistic data of the work of Vincent van Gogh in a simple and accessible way.

The platform is gradually being built, starting by including all Van Gogh's works in the Netherlands. Starting this year they will also begin to incorporate data from works located in other parts of the world.

VAN GOGH IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND

Van Gogh Worldwide has been built in collaboration with a host of partners, including museums, private collectors and research institutions, especially the Cultural Heritage Laboratory of the Netherlands Agency for Cultural Heritage (RCE).

The website is possible thanks to the three founding partners mentioned, also supported by the Vincent van Gogh Foundation and the Mondriaan Fund.

From the platform they point out that “Van Gogh Worldwide is not an authorized catalog raisonné, but consists of continually updated information on the works of Vincent van Gogh. as published in J.-B de la Faille in The Works of Vincent Van Gogh: His Paintings and Drawings, Amsterdam 1970 (also known for short as De la Faille 1970 ), but with some additions.
