Living under the sea is now a reality. At least in the rangali island (Maldives), where from today, November 7, 2018, you can make your reservation at ** The Muraka , a luxurious two-story vacation villa**, with a peculiarity, one of those that make a difference and record experiences in the subconscious : one of its levels is found immersed in the Indian Ocean. Specifically five meters below sea level.
Its 600 tons have been conceived with a design designed to blend in with an environment rich in colors, corals and biodiversity that most of the time escapes the eye of common mortals. what of sunrise overlooking the sea , here it becomes a literality.

“We try to avoid a design that takes you away from the views of the outside; that is why the interior design of the villa is minimal” , explains in a presentation video Yuji Yamakazi, the Japanese architect who is in charge of interior design.
“With this design I want feel the solitude, the tranquility, the silence... They are going to be the only ones in the world to sleep with a view of the ocean,” he continues. The project has involved an investment of 15 million dollars.
The Muraka, which in Dhivehi, the local Maldivian language, means 'coral', It has capacity for nine people spread over its two floors.

The upper one has two small rooms, bathroom, gym, powder room, quarters for the butler, living room, kitchen, bar and a dining room with a deck facing the sunset. The opposite part of the villa is the epicenter of relaxation with a deck with sunrise views and an infinity pool.
The sophisticated touch comes from the hand of a large room and a bathroom with a bathtub from which to contemplate the ocean.

The lower floor, which is accessed by a spiral staircase, has a suite, a bathroom and a living room. All this below sea level and with uninterrupted, panoramic 180º views to the bottom of the Indian Ocean , guaranteeing an intimate and immersive experience in one of the most incredible environments on Earth.
This sunken treasure is not the first permanent foray of the human being into the depths of the ocean. The creators of this villa, Conrad Maldives, already ventured in 2004 to inaugurate the first underwater restaurant, Ithaa , which will soon have a new competitor ; and in Dubai they already sell underwater houses. At The Muraka, for the moment, they have not put a price on the luxury of sleeping under the ocean.
