Water is the root that gives life to the new destination hotel in Mallorca, a sustainable accommodation of 5 stars, 25 rooms and 2.6 million square meters of land that are included under the name of LJs Ratxó. The old ratxó that channels the Water coming from the mountains, it flows into the depths of the valley generating life and becoming the guiding thread of the project, installed in a ecological park specialized in the recovery of Native species of flora and fauna such as goats, peacocks, a great variety of birds and raptors, and olive trees.
A sustainable luxury , an almost mandatory definition due to the environment in which it is located and that is achieved by rational use of water, individual control of air conditioners, LED lighting, elimination of plastics single-use coffee, digitization of printed materials, coffee beans instead of capsules, cups made from coffee grounds, a team that is 70% resident on the island, and a gastronomy that focuses on local products . A first stone that will lay the foundations for actions such as the forest cleaning, the recovery of the flora, use of electric vehicles and systems that will supply renewable energy.

Location and environment: At a distance of 20 minutes by car from Palma, and 40 from the airport, in the Sierra de Tramuntana –declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO–, and specifically inside the Puig del Galatxó Reserve . Decoration and interior design: To be a destination in itself, this retreat has decided that making you feel in an authentic Majorcan home was going to be its differentiating point. And he has achieved it together with the interior designer Blanca Rosselló , keeping much of the decor original but weaving everything into the same theme in which typical elements of the island appear, such as the water cloth, the handmade clay containers, the blown glass and the making of lamps and other decorative details with olive wood extracted from the estate itself and worked by a team of six cabinetmakers.
