A tip for any New Year's Eve you spend in New York: check the agenda of concerts in the city . It is a major night of musical events, in the hours before midnight and after. Among the great New Year's Eve 2015-2016 offer, you will find Gogol Bordello in Terminal 5 (by 35 dollars ) ; Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Referee Band (from $65) or Deer Tick at Brooklyn Bowl (from $50)…

The options are endless, from bar hopping to buying tickets to the posh parties that hotels throw around Times Square. Some include the party in the reservation of your room that they have already taken care of charging you previously **(hotels are much more expensive that night, especially in Midtown) **. A good place, with unbeatable views, is The Knickerbocker , the hotel that opened this year with rooftop looking at the famous ball.
You also have the option of a very New York party: in a classic club with famous Broadway singer (Annaleigh Ashford), dinner, dessert buffet and champagne included.
And crazier options like the one organized by the Output club in Williamsburg (between $50 and $90) with Oscar G, Ace Alvarez or Viviana Toscanini DJing all night ; or the different versions for over and under 21 they have at Knitting Factory.

But before all that partying, you should think about giving yourself one last big feast of the year. Many restaurants offer a special New Year's Eve menu, often multi-course, and champagne toasts at midnight. So prices don't go below 100. But it is a good time to take advantage and go to the classics and the modern classics, those sites that never fail and thus enter the year with a bang and a full stomach. For example, at the 21 Club, the NoMad, the ABC Kitchen, Boulud Sud and the Narcissa. Of course, it is more than advisable to reserve in all of them (here is a fairly complete list).
