The Veranos de la Villa come to squeeze our agendas and occupy our days with music, theater, cinema, fashion, art, gastronomy , etc.

The illustrator Lara Lars has been in charge of a collage that combines the explosion of color and the most symbolic elements of this season, along with some of the most emblematic buildings of Madrid . The creation of it is the best way to capture the desire we have for summer and re-immerse ourselves in the culture of the capital.

PROGRAMMING

The Veranos de la Villa programme, as expected, covers a wide range of activities, but also the venues that will host them. Both outdoors and the Parque de la Bombilla, the Paseo de Recoletos or the Quinta de los Molinos Park ; like interiors, like the Conde Duque Cultural Center, the Spanish Theater, the Palace of Fernán Núñez or CentroCentro , among others. In this 37th edition, the Veranos de la Villa has the Republic of Korea as a guest country . This translates into theatrical shows, such as The History of Korean Western Theatre, performances such as Iyagui: Korean Tales , the presence of important artists such as Lee Lee Nam , even a contest dedicated to the musical fever of the moment: K-POP.

Parallel to the activities and following in the footsteps of the success of the last edition, the cycle returns to eat the summer . In collaboration with the Federation of Cooks and Pastry Chefs of Spain, the festival will bring together chefs and confectioners from the capital , both the most popular and the newest in the sector.
