Celebrate with us the 25th anniversary of Sónar Barcelona
The vanguard of the electronic scene in Spain, as we understand it today, born a quarter of a century ago.
It was June 1994 when a handful of enthusiasts and visual artists brought together a small cast of international DJs in Barcelona's Sala Apolo. Today, past 25 years , the Sonar Barcelona proclaims without reservation and with the same spirit its place in the history of music.
In a quarter of a century they have mutated the scenarios, the technological support, the decibels, the urban tribes and, somewhat less, the hedonistic aspirations and devotion to the new currents of electronics . Because if there is something that remains immune, it is precisely this: the exemplary coexistence between artistic-technological dissemination and collective recreation.
In the heat of this event, and with no desire to applaud the arrogance 'sound' (a little yes) , we have prepared this test in search of the most seasoned devotees of the festival. With this tempting challenge we invite you to warm up the engines of what promises to be an epic edition . The award? live it in person .
