A carpet of 50,000 spheres
After developing the idea for a decade, the first Field of Light was born in the back garden of his house in Wiltshire (England) . And it is that, in 1992 , visiting this enclave of the **Red Desert of Australia**, Munro felt a strong connection with the energy, warmth and brightness of the landscape. The result of the notes he took in his eternal notebook was Field of Light. "I wanted to create an illuminated field of stems that bloom at dusk with a soft rhythm of light under a great blanket of stars ", explains the artist on his website.
