A date is sought for the Fallas of 2021, if the pandemic allows it

Now we know that the Ministry of Universal Health and Public Health of the Valencian Community has urged “work on proposals for the second half of 2021 with the necessary restrictions”, as read in a tweet published by the Valencia City Council.
It is also confirmed in a public letter by Carlos Galiana, councilor of Festive Culture and president of the Fallera Central Board. “The Autonomous Secretary has officially confirmed to us that It will be impossible, as we have sensed for weeks, to celebrate the Fallas week on its usual dates”.
"Nevertheless, we have been urged to work on proposals for the second half of the year and with the necessary restrictions”. For which, the letter continues, a period of joint reflection is opened to make decisions for the future.
Galiana assures that from the Fallera Central Board "They will continue to work tirelessly to keep the Fallas activity and our festive culture alive, always prioritizing the health of the entire group and the rest of the citizenry”.
In addition, he continues, "with the representation of the different groups, unions, federations, groups, directors, delegates of the Fallera Central Board, we will hold meetings as soon as possible to assess the current situation, the future of our party or possible aid to the sectors involved”.
