south of Copenhagen , in the iconic Gisselfeld Klosters Forest , between rolling hills, streams, lakes, wetlands and meadows, stands a huge steel construction. The newly opened theme park observation tower ** Camp Adventure **, with its 45 meters high, allows visitors to enjoy privileged views of the surrounding area.

In addition to being the most avant-garde work in the park - where the largest zip lines and natural attractions in Denmark -, can also boast of being the first structure of its kind in Scandinavia , offering a unique experience to those who want to fully enjoy the nature of this enclave.

To get to what is now the highest point in the Zealand region , since the upper platform of the tower is at 140 meters above sea level , you can complete the experience by doing a route of 900 meters through the boreal forest.

The walk is divided into a path through the treetops and another lower path: the first crosses the oldest parts of the forest, while the tower and the lower walkway run through the most recent areas. Both culminate with the ascent to the great tower , who, after his 650 meters of spiral, hides a postcard at the top that will make you forget your vertigo.

Camp Adventure Forest Tower It has been the work of the studio ** EFFEKT Architects ,** who assure that not only the top of the tower, with its 360 degree views , immerses the visitor in the environment, but the ramp -which makes the building accessible to people with reduced mobility- it also offers immersive views of the forest.

The path that leads to the latest addition to Camp Adventure has been designed in such a way that everyone can admire the beauty of the forest but without altering the environment , respecting the habitat of the great variety of species that live in it.

For this very reason, the tower has been built in aged steel and locally sourced oak , visually mimicking the environment and betting on sustainability.

Before its completion, the work already had several awards such as the German Design Council Award (winner of the Best of Best in the Concept category), the 2017 ICONIC Award (in the Visionary Architecture category) and the Award for the Best Tourist Initiative of the South Coast of Denmark in 2018.
