It will not be the tallest of towers. In fact, its 181 meters are far from the 250 of the Torre de Cristal, the highest, and the 235 of the Torre Espacio, the lowest. However, the arrival of Caleido will not go unnoticed and will once again change the profile of the city. Its construction will begin next March and is scheduled to be completed during the last quarter of 2019 , they inform from the City council .

181 meters and 36 floors

The new tower will be built on the 66,972 m2 of land that the City Council owns at number 259 Castellana. After a public tender, the Consistory has ceded its use to the company Icono Torre Vida S.A.U, a real estate company of the Villar Mir Group, for 75 years for four million euros. This represents 300 million euros which include the building costs, the urbanization of the plot destined for a green area, the fees and the canon.
