** Let's celebrate Latin America. Because there is much to celebrate.** Starting with the 70th anniversary of the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI).

To celebrate its 70 years of history, the OEI organizes a festival dedicated to cultural miscegenation and diversity of all the Ibero-American towns that makes this city boast of the nickname of Madrid, Capital of Fashion.

From September 18 to 29, the festival _Celebrate Ibero-America (CIB Fest) _ It will host more than 100 free activities that will bring Ibero-American culture closer to the capital.

In addition, it will have the participation of artists such as the writers M Artín Caparrós, Jordi Sierra i Fabra and Patricio Pron or Brazilian music Flavia Bittencourt and Tulipa Ruiz.

CIB Fest will be held from September 18 to 29 in Madrid

One of the guides of the Celebremos Iberoamérica festival is active reflection , which will be fostered through meetings, talks and debates on topics such as cultural management, human rights and literature.

The program planned for this first edition of CIB Fest, which has more than 160 participants from all over Latin America, will take place in 42 branches, 13 municipal libraries, 8 city markets and several restaurants.

Among the activities contemplated is the celebration of 25 literary workshops on creation and illustration, aimed at children and young people between 6 and 18 years old.

Also, there will be 22 projections with women as the absolute protagonist both in front of and behind the camera.

In the musical section, we can attend six concerts, one of them as a jam session on Verso in tenth, which shows the wealth and roots that have united both sides of the Atlantic for centuries.

Art will come from the hand of Andrés Montoya and his drug addict urban intervention. The Colombian artist will work on one of the facades of the Youth Center El Sitio de mi Recreo in Vallecas.

There will also be room for photography with the exhibition Young Views of Ibero-America , curated by the International Youth Organization for Ibero-America (OIJ) at the Casa de la Panadería.

The Municipal Market Network , for its part, will display Ibero-American products, an initiative also supported by the Association of Hoteliers and Pastry Chefs of Madrid, the Association of Hoteliers of the Plaza Mayor and Historic Restaurants.
