** GOLDEN MEAN , LOS ANGELES **

_(1028 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica) _

The Huffington Post defined the Golden Mean as the best vegan cafe in all of Los Angeles and although such a statement may seem disproportionate, as soon as you take a brief look at its letter you know that the American publication was not on the wrong track. One hundred percent natural products , many of them home-made as bread, coffee and dressing s, as well as a super extensive menu for celiacs. Another good reason to come back to L.A soon!

I recommend the Rueben sandwich : marinated tempeh with sautéed onions, fresh tomato, melted cheese and sauerkraut on toasted rye bread.

**BY CHLOE, NEW YORK**

_(185 Bleecker Street) _

I confess: there is no time that I set foot in ** New York ** and do not stop at the by CHLOE . And yes, you always have to queue, but believe me: it is well worth it. With four locations open only in NY (they have two more in Boston and another in Los Angeles) it is one of those places that both vegetarians and carnivores leave delighted. There is no waiter service (it is self-service) and the tables are shared , which makes for a better atmosphere to breathe.

If you go there on a Saturday or Sunday, you're in luck, because they organize brunches that will make it too hard for you to go home.

Impossible to resist Guac Burger : black bean quinoa, sweet potato, onion, guacamole, tortilla strips, chipotle chili and corn sauce.

**HALEIWA BOWLS, HAWAII**

_(66-082 Kamehameha Hwy) _

One of my essential destinations is Hawaii, since I have been lucky enough to step on its beautiful beaches many times. A large part of me has a lot to do with this archipelago, both my way of looking at life and, of course, the way I take care of myself inside and out. So for all this and much more this beautiful place and its spectacular Haleiwa Bowls .

Located in the heart of Haleiwa, its huge bowls of fruit are highly known among locals and increasingly among tourists. Fresh produce harvested by local farmers they make this small wooden cabin in the purest Hawaiian style a mandatory stop. The list of fruits is endless: blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, mango or banana, everything and more accompanied by homemade organic honey or natural coconut flakes . Can you think of a better plan to end a long day at the beach?

I'm not leaving there without a blend bowl : mix of acai berries, strawberries, blueberries and banana. Accompanied by a hemp granola sauce, coconut flakes and honey.

** MATCHA MYLKBAR , MELBOURNE **

_(72A Acland St, St Kilda) _

The latest in coffee comes from Australia and not just because they do with completely vegan milk but because it tastes like the sea and is blue in color. Yes, you read correctly smurf blue coffee . The curious result arises from the mixture of coconut milk, agave ginger, lemon and an algae from the area that has the same color.

But the Mylkbar not only attracts the curious because of this new breakfast format, but also because it has turned healthy eating around by offering a menu of antioxidant foods. Of course, their list of shakes and varieties of coffee is very long from those prepared with almond or rice milk to matcha tea with beet milk.

my favourite, the Turmeric Latte: turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper, ginger and coconut milk.

Matcha Mylkbar

In Melbourne, coffee doesn't look like it.

** THE PRINCIPAL HOTEL, MADRID **

_(Marquis of Valdeiglesias 1) _

But let's stop going around the world map and talk about something that is closer to us. The quintessential brunch in Madrid , the first 5-star hotel on the emblematic Gran Vía, is none other than The Principal Hotel.

Staying there is not only sleeping in one of the most spectacular historic buildings in the capital, but also enjoying a fully tailored service , exceptional views from its glass-enclosed outdoor area and, of course, a luxury menu signed by the 2-time Michelin star chef, Ramon Freixa. From Madrid to heaven and more.

My star combination: ajoblanco with pine nuts, tuna tartar, mango and avocado and waffle with red fruits.

**FLAX & KALE, BARCELONA**

_(Carrer dels Tallers 74B) _

I couldn't close this list without naming Flax and Kale, from the Teresa Carles group. A healthy flexitarian restaurant , or what is the same, that offers dishes with nutritional value. His motto: tasty + healthy + sustainable food.

I recommend the Teresa's Favorite Kale Salad with cherry tomatoes, avocado, algae and assorted sprouts.
