If you had to paint New York, what colors would you use? How would you paint its neighborhoods, its streets, its houses and parks? Color Factory adds color to city ​​of skyscrapers and it does so with an unprecedented exhibition that occupies some six thousand square meters, because we already know that when they do something here, it is in a big way.

What is ColorFactory? The Color Factory team wants the exhibition to be a collaborative space on the color that they have been collecting throughout the city , thanks to paintings, photographs and stories, and with which you can let go of your curiosity and fun.

Or what is the same: colored ball pools, spaces that experiment with light, colored stairs, rainbow dressers, confetti pools... with which you can enjoy, for now, the entire month of September as well.

The Hudson Square in New York's Soho It is the place chosen to install the sample with the works of different artists, designers and creators. It is not the first time that an exhibition of this type has been held, because the creators of Color Factory had their first space on color in San Francisco in August 2017.

It was so successful that it lasted for eight months and finally it was decided to start a new one in New York . If you have already seen the one in San Francisco, you should know that although they have been inspired by it, you will not find the same thing because the liveliness of each city is different.

What will you find inside? Color Factory is made by and for the digital world , your Instagram will live an epic explosion of color so charge your battery to the max. For this reason there are no tickets at the box office and you can only get them in their online version.

With the exhibition you will get to know the version of the artist Leah Rosenberg on Manhattan or the interpretations of the graphic designer Erin Jang. Also the follies of MMuseumm, Oh Happy Day, Tamara Shopsin and many more.

Once you have finished visiting the exhibition, which lasts approximately one hour, Color Map will take you through the surrounding neighborhoods to discover what color is like in the neighborhoods of New York.

MANHATTAN IN FULL COLOR

The color will accompany you to the garden of Cooper Hewitt with a special facility in the Smithsonian Design Museum where they have created a color map. Each strip corresponds to the observation of a street in Manhattan.

a walk through 265 streets, from the top of Manhattan at West 220th Street to Battery Park has led the Color Factory team to create a color map made with photographs and unique stories. Now it will be your turn to create your mental map of the city, how do you think it will be?
