Irani: let yourself be surprised by his creativity

When in 2007 Nacho Fernández decided to open the first Inari on General Pardiñas street, the idea of japanese food sounded like russian . And he used the word sushi in Swedish. Let's be realistic. Almost 10 years ago, Madrid was not the international and modern city that it is now, to the point that it is difficult to recognize it in certain areas when you have been away for some time. But, in any case, Inari was the dream of someone who liked Japanese cuisine too much and wanted the rest of us from Madrid to enjoy it the same way; That is why he opted from the beginning for excellent quality, but without reaching unpayable prices . Inari is one of those 'Japs' where you can go for a treat once a week. No regrets.

That is the reason why the first Inari is about to be open for ten years and why the second location, in La Moraleja, is already on the way to its fifth anniversary. Value for money and excellent unpretentious service is what has made Inari a safe bet all these years. And, for that, it is even more grateful that its founder, Nacho Fernández has dedicated himself "to giving the coconut" to renew an already classic menu , to which regular customers return again and again.

In order not to lose that loyalty and to reward all those who have always bet on their cuisine, Inari wanted to ensure that the seven new additions to the menu soon become favorites. And yes, they have succeeded. With two clear stars: the soft shell crab bath –translation: Japanese steamed bun stuffed with a whole tempura soft-shell crab– and the wagyu sliders , but of Real wagyu, beef from Kagoshima, Japan.

WHY GO?

Because it is a safe Japanese bet, very safe. Different, high quality and at a very reasonable price. Also, if you go to the one in La Moraleja, it is most likely that you will find the Nacho Ferández and will make you a menu to suit your palate and your indecision . If you want us to talk about specific dishes: gyozas, foie shumai, chicken and caramelized onion, eel nigiri, tuna tartare, the carabinero sushi…
