open gusset is the contest that, within the framework of the celebration of its bicentennial, the museum launches to search for five explanatory texts for as many of his most famous works: The executions, by Goya; Juana la Loca, from Pradilla; Portrait of Queen Anne of Austria, by Sofonisba Anguissola; The Descent, by Van der Weyden; and Self-Portrait, by Dürer.

To participate you just have to access the Prado Museum website, download the poster of the work you want, complete it with a text of a maximum of 400 characters and send the document as a PDF to [email protected] until March 15.

The proposals will be published on the museum's website and the Education Area will choose the five winners taking into account the personal point of view that the writings contribute, the alternative stories that they propose and the originality.

Those selected will be announced on March 19 and will be produced and hung together with their respective works. following the design of traditional brackets. In addition, the winners will receive a copy of this card.
