1. COFFEE + SEWING = TETE COFFEE SEWING

Going into Tete CaféCostura (_San Pedro, 7) _ puts you off a bit. Are we in a cafeteria or in a sewing workshop? The answer is easy: it is both. Located in the Barrio de las Letras, Teté CaféCostura is a place decorated with antique furniture where you can have a quiet coffee and, if you feel like it, crochet, learn sewing techniques or even buy vintage clothes. Between sips we can rent one of their eight sewing machines and take the opportunity to fix the bottom of those pants that we almost stepped on, sew a hem or finish off those loose buttons. In addition, they organize workshops and couture workshops for those who want to delve into the world of fashion and transform their wardrobe.

two. COFFEE + INDUSTRIAL DESIGN = KIKEKELLER

A creative and very original space where you can have a coffee is Kikekeller (_Corredera Baja de San Pablo, 17) _. Surrounded by vintage furniture and one-of-a-kind objects, this **industrial design shop turns into an impromptu café (with waiters included) every Thursday-Saturday afternoon**. Imagine having tea next to some leather and wrought iron chairs, some armchairs built with scaffolding, some concrete lamps or a magazine rack made with skateboard wheels. All very original. For its owners, Kike and Celia, "Kikekeller is a space where everyday objects and art meet to propose a different dialogue ”. And now gastronomy also joins. The craft beers they serve are the best.

3. COFFEE + BOOKS + WINES = INFAMOUS GUYS

Another hybrid space that captivates as soon as you enter it is Tipos Infames (San Joaquín, 3). This bookstore, cafeteria and wine bar in the Malasaña neighborhood houses between its shelves of alternative books, an open space with chairs and tables where you can talk while we savor a coffee or a good wine. Curro Llorca, Alfonso Tordesillas and Gonzalo Queipo are three friends who started this project with a literary flavor. The premises have a lower floor -which can be seen under our feet through transparent glass- where they organize a multitude of literary and artistic events.

Four. COFFEE + ARCHITECTURE = ARQUIBAR

Two architects have converted part of your architecture studio -the same space in which they worked- in a cute cafe where they serve homemade cakes, salty roscones and cocktails made with Galician gin. We are talking about Arquibar (Travesia del Conde Duque, 5), a tiny place -no more than 20 people can fit- but full of charm. With a very pampered decoration, we can have a coffee in vintage porcelain and earthenware cups or a cocktail in a delicate antique glass cup. They also serve a delicious and complete brunch. And as a soundtrack, it always sounds a tune from the 20's . The cafeteria is open all day in the evenings and on weekends (closed on Mondays).

5. COFFEE + WORK = MMM_US

For workaholics who can't make a 'kit kat' even at coffee time, places like Mmm_US (_Duque de Rivas, 5) are perfect for getting on with the task. This office cafe is a place integrated into the utopic_US coworking space where people come to work while recharging their batteries with a snack or snack. The place is beautiful, it has WIFI, light in abundance and a quiet and cozy atmosphere to concentrate. Its gastrobar is another delight: in its menu we find very ecological. The cakes and craft beers are the best. This is how we all want to work.

6. COFFEE + BIKES + STREET ART = THE BIKE CYCLING COFFEE & WORKPLACE

Another very versatile space is the Bicycle Cycling Café & Workplace (_San Ildefonso, 9) _. Decorated with vintage furniture and Chester-type sofas, here we can eat a Danish sandwich or homemade pastries, work with free Wi-Fi, go to a street art exhibition or tune up our bike. La Bicicleta Café is already a place of reference in the Malasaña neighbourhood, a hipster space with a great personality where it is impossible to get bored. You don't go hungry either: your menu is surprising. They serve fresh and natural food and many veggie dishes.
