Nord a video to walk through the purest nature of Iceland and Norway

The purest nature of Iceland and Norway

Iceland and Norway, those countries in which mother nature was especially inspired to show us her genius, are the protagonists of Nord. This video, behind which is Dmitry Bubonets, is an authentic aerial adventure shot by drone. As if you were flying over its landscapes.

Since Iceland's famous Geysir to Lake Myvatn, passing the Hvitserkur rock formation, Jökulsárlón glacial lake, the Foss a Sidu waterfall or the Gullfoss waterfall , Bubonets takes us on a trip around the island, to then make the leap to the mainland and enter Norway until you reach Trolltunga or the small town of Balestrand, among others.

“I was in Iceland a couple of times for work before shooting the video. I only went to Reykjavik, the Blue Lagoon and Geysir. Nothing special if you take into account all the beauties of Iceland, although it was enough for me to fall in love with this country that seems from another world” , Bubonets tells Traveler. "In the case of Norway, I chose it because we dreamed of hiking in Trolltunga and then decided that it would be good to stay for six or seven days in the country."

The video was recorded last August with aerial shots captured with a drone. The result leaves immense panoramas which are quite far from the timelapse and hyperlapse so fashionable in recent times. "I preferred to give it a cinematic touch, rather than do something just because it's fashionable." Spoilers beware! Bubonets already has his next video in mind: will record it in Indonesia and "it will be a combination of traditional video, with shots made from the ground and aerial shots." He is convinced that this way he can better show the story. While we wait to marvel at his next work, how about we press play and delight ourselves with Nord?
