HOW WAS THE IDEA OF TRUCK RAIL BORN?
Truck Rail began to be forged at the Madrid university festival of San Cemento in 2015. Javier Guerrero, the founder of this project, He drove an old family van to campus and put some speakers on the roof to set up a disco on wheels. "There is still talk of that party," the young entrepreneur explains with a laugh.
Music was the perfect excuse to bring together a group of friends who would like to go on a different trip. “The original idea was to tour Europe with live music. However, I realized that the important thing was the experience that people live when traveling by road”, Guerrero says. Inspired by the documentary Expedition Happiness, starring a German couple narrating their adventure through the United States, Canada and Mexico in a bus converted into a caravan, the search for Jack began. Finally, he found it on an auction page, which he won by investing his savings and a bank loan.

JACK: ICONIC ON THE OUTSIDE AND GREEN ON THE INSIDE
This bus does not go unnoticed on the roads, or anywhere. Guerrero's eyes light up: “It was love at first sight. I was looking for something that would not go out of style and the vans are already very seen”. After many months of work and time dedicated to the study of mechanics, Jack has become the perfect fusion between design and technology. Vintage on the outside and cozy, minimalist and functional on the inside.
Likewise, Truck Rail is committed to the environment, Therefore, special attention has been paid to its sustainability in terms of waste management, reduction in the use of plastics and the use of ecological products.
“Internally, we have installed solar panels on the roof, the shower has a Nebia system that allows you to shower saving up to 70% of water and the W.C. It has a waste incinerator, that is, we do not use chemicals that harm the environment,” explains Guerrero, very proud.
The founder of this adventure affirms that he also produces a lower carbon footprint because he is aware of the importance of using the bus only when it is full. “This year we will travel 6,000 kilometers and, looking to the future, we want to buy the equivalent tons of CO2 that we generate in Grupo Sylvestris, a Spanish project to replant trees”, says this young man.

JACK ARRIVES IN MADRID AND STARTS HIS ENTREPRENEURIAL CAREER
"After three months and a lot of paperwork, the bus arrived at the port of Bilbao in 2018. The first thing I did was drive to Belgium to show my Erasmus friends that I had managed to bring my dream from the United States," Guerrero says with great delight. smile. Miraculously, due to the state of the car, Jack arrived in Madrid and it was from that moment on that all the people who had branded him "crazy" or had not believed in the project turned to the business.
It is not easy to be a young entrepreneur, but the idea that “anything is possible” is in his blood and in his last name. Guerrero is a young optimist and a non-conformist who fell in love with a challenge: “to ensure that anyone has access to this vital experience”, he explains. Little by little, despite the many rejections, the project began to take shape and this is how Truck Rail will make us travel through Spain in a way never seen before.

TRAVEL CADIZ ON WHEELS IN THIS YELLOW GIANT
It is not necessary to go far to be the protagonist of an adventure film and Spain boasts of beautiful places. This summer, Truck Rail holds the route 'Made in Spain' or, as Guerrero says: “the southern salseo experience”. This trip through Cádiz offers a wide range of plans to enjoy with friends.
“We start from Jerez de la Frontera and continue through Puerto de Santa María, the beaches of El Palmar, the dunes of Bolonia and, finally, Tarifa, synonymous with beach bars, kitesurfing and going out at night until the body can hold on” Guerrero says.
Starting in September, they will travel to the Mediterranean to explore the beaches with crystal clear waters, practice water activities, visit its coastal towns and enjoy gastronomy with "the Jávea weekend experience".

This summer we will enjoy it at 'home', in a unique way and with more desire than ever. Covid-19 will not rob us of what we love most: traveling. “The disinfection of the bus and its cleaning are vital to provide a safe coexistence. We will also supply masks and disinfectant gel. Anyway, we are lucky that we only have capacity for a small group of eight people and the public we are targeting is not a risk sector”, explains the founder regarding the security measures that Truck Rail will take during its trips.
Javier Guerrero knows what it is to "live from the story" because he himself decided write his own story in which this yellow giant is the protagonist. For him, “Jack is not just a bus that people go on. It is the tip of the iceberg because Jack is more than that. We not only make trips, but we are a meeting point. We are independent and free.”
Guerrero is very clear about what his dreams are and Jack is that "multifunctional space" that serves as a speaker for his ideas. He wants to turn the bus into a form of expression in the art world, a place where great stories and projects are born, as well as making the greatest of adventures a reality: making expeditions through Europe and reaching the Pacific.
