In a few years the shenzhen chinese city will host a great skyscraper which can be entered without leaving the park. The C Tower It will rise from the ground as a natural extension of the park, and will have a space for good part of the 300,000 workers who will pass through the area every day . But inside there will also be a place to have fun.

“The design invites the public to enter the heart of the building , where the cultural and recreational attractions will be located on the bridges that join the two towers and will offer panoramic views of the city”, explains Zaha Hadid's studio in a press release.
The idea will not be relegated to good intentions: inside Tower C the offices will coexist with a convention center, art galleries, cultural facilities, restaurants, shops and even a hotel and a residential area . It is what the architects who have given life to the project call “ a vertical and multidimensional city”.
And in this metropolis tucked into a park, pedestrians will rule over road traffic. Tower C will be configured as a new public space located at the intersection between the green axis of Shenzhen, which runs from north to south, and the main urban corridor, from east to west.

Walkers will be invited to wander through the grass and wetlands that will surround the skyscraper. Under the building will be enabled access to the city metro and a transport hub . There will also be a parking for bicycles with devices to charge those that are electric.
STAGED TERRACES: THE LUNGS OF TOWER C
Zaha Hadid Architects' project connects with the green ambition of Shenzhen new financial district . The skyscraper has been conceived from a sustainable perspective, and for this reason the spectacular base terraces are intended to contain aquaponic gardens (with plants that grow in the water) that filter pollution from the environment biologically.
Both towers will be covered by a double-insulated glass curtain that will allow self-regulation of light and shade in the building . This function will be essential, because those who work in the offices they will enjoy the natural lighting of the sun.
The facade will incorporate cavities to renew the air through a natural and hybrid ventilation . In addition, the building will be equipped with a system to collect and recycle water. And photovoltaic panels will be placed that will supply electricity not only to the building, but to the entire district. The studio will work with low volatility organic materials and recycled elements.
The focus will be on reduce carbon emissions and minimize the amounts of polluting particles . With this objective, the city's smart measurement systems will be used to adjust energy consumption in real time to the external and internal conditions of the building.
ZAHA HADID'S HAND CHARTS THE FUTURE OF CHINA
Tower C won't be the only Shenzhen novelty to come out of Zaha Hadid Architects in the next few years. The architects are working on the new OPPO offices, which will be made up of four interconnected towers. They are also in charge of the new science and technology museum in the Chinese city.
The financial area project is reminiscent of the Opus hotel in Dubai for its sinuous shapes, which give a perpetual sense of movement, and the Leeza SOHO in Beijing, for its dizzying height.
Zaha Hadid's studio, which continues the legacy of the late architect, is also behind the Hong Kong skyline, the most expensive in the world.
