The walls of the Glorieta de Embajadores and Miguel Servet and Mesón de Paredes streets have a new look. Having as a common thread the concept of Urban Natures , the artists participating in this edition of Muros Tabacalera 2016 ( there are names like Thumbtack, Okuda, I say Diego or Julieta XLF ) will help with their creations to reflect on the contemporary city , the way of life to which it leads us and its hostility towards people due to the excess of pollution and the lack of natural spaces.
The streets fill with color
jobs, which They begin this Tuesday 14 and will end on June 22 , are made in situ on the walls of the Tabacalera, so the show is not only about seeing the result, but about enjoying contemplating the creative process. Muros Tabacalera 2016 is a project of Madrid Street Art Project for the General Subdirectorate for the Promotion of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. In this second edition, which arrives two years after the first (2014), it is intended that nature, albeit in an 'artistic metaphor', dominate the implacable gray of the city.
