This month, it is the inauguration of the new boutique of the Maison Cartier in this rehabilitated architectural complex with care, part of the historic center, which has been attracting a multitude of visitors for months while it has established itself as point of reference for the people of Madrid. This new boutique joins the other 270 that the jewelry firm has all over the world.

This new space 170 square meters where you can discover pieces of jewelry, fine jewelry and watchmaking, going through perfumes, leather goods and accessories, bet on a distinctive decoration that combines contemporary luxury Cartier with details of crafts, embroidered tapestries, boiseries and moldings with golden touches.
If Galería Canalejas recently announced that a traditional Madrid house, Seseña, would sign the uniforms of its doormen, there is no lack of nods to Madrid's cultural heritage. Noteworthy is the tapestry that presides over the main room, where they are represented the Royal Botanic Garden in its background, as a symbol of Madrid, and the panther, the emblematic animal of Cartier.

A LONG IDILY WITH MADRID
Cartier maintains a long relationship with the city of Madrid, for more than 30 years. It was in 1990 when the luxury house was installed in the Salamanca district, opening its first boutique in the Iberian Peninsula.
In the year 2012, the alliance between Madrid and the firm was strengthened thanks to the exhibition The Art of Cartier, which brought together more than 400 pieces from the Cartier Collection at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
Recently, in June of this year, the house has conquered the walkers of the Retiro with the Cartier Pavilion of Design, an immersive celebration of design culture through the most iconic Cartier pieces.
Galería Canalejas continues to bet heavily on the best luxury with the opening of this jewelery and watchmaking space.
