The Lincoln Public Library in Illinois, the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, the George Peabody in Baltimore… This exhibition takes a journey from the charitable libraries of the 18th century to the impressive structures of the 21st.

Contemplating the images, the viewer understands the importance of the role of libraries in the cultural life of a society, while enjoying the different architectural styles that they present and that are a reflection of the time in which each building was built. And it is that these photographs are not only a reminder of the need to preserve something as beautiful as a library, but also an authentic reconstruction of its history through the aesthetic aspect and the style that its architecture provides.
