It was in the Barcelona International Exhibition of 1929 when the German architect, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe , and the German modern designer, Lilly Reich , built the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion on Montjuïc. This place would host the official reception between the King Alfonso XIII and the German authorities.
