Travel blindly abroad and at the price of a visit to the town
From monumental Rome to cold Stockholm: your next trip within the Old Continent it can be to some of the most spectacular cities in the world , but with two important novelties: at a bargain price Y without knowing very well what your destiny will be.
That is what can happen traveling with ** Waynabox **, a Spanish startup that launched its peculiar travel packages less than a year ago. With them, in just eight months, they have managed to have 5,000 clients and invoice close to one million euros.
The operation of the platform is simple. Through the Waynabox website, travelers they buy their plane package plus two hotel nights for a fixed price of 150 euros. Below is a list of twelve destinations this amazing journey could take you to.
After discarding the destinations they don't want to avoid the cities they don't want to visit (one can be discarded for free and nine more for five euros each) and limiting the flight schedules, everything is underway. Nevertheless, the traveler will know nothing . You will have to prepare your suitcase without knowing exactly where you are going: you will only know your destination two days before boarding the plane.

LOW COST OF QUALITY
From this startup born in Valencia and recently installed in Barcelona ensure that "The surprise is the great value of Waynabox, but this does not detract from the quality of the trip".
In fact, although the price makes it, without a doubt, a ‘low cost’ getaway, not all the airlines they work with are low cost , and the hotels that the traveler can reach are from two to four stars . "We choose them according to the scores of Expedia and our own travelers," they explain.
Rome, Dublin, London, Amsterdam and even some North African cities are among the destinations that travelers can visit by spending a simple and cheap weekend away.
Precisely in this way, on an economic trip, was how Waynabox was born. "After an Interrail, the founders, aeronautical engineers passionate about travel, decided to do something similar to these trips but with planes," they say from the company.

And that was how Pau Sendra, Ferran Blanché and Daniel Jiménez created Waynabox . In addition to conquering 5,000 clients with their blind tourism initiative, the three young engineers won one of the prizes from the **Lanzadera accelerator**, the initiative of the owner of Mercadona Juan Roig, and managed to raise a financing round of 250,000 euros.
Now, after being one of the award-winning companies in the National Competition for Young Entrepreneurs organized by the Youth Institute (INJUVE) Waynabox's goal is to reach one million euros in turnover and, meanwhile, that its customers continue to fly to unknown destinations that allow them to discover Europe (and surroundings) without scratching your pocket too much.
