Flowers return to the patios of Córdoba this fall with the FLORA festival

An appetizer of what In Water Flowers will display

Between October 20 and 29 a series of ephemeral floral installations developed by eight artists from around the world in as many courtyards of the city of Córdoba.

It will start like this the first edition of FLORA, the International Flower Festival , which proposes that anyone who comes to discover it contemplate the traditional patios of the city in a different way: dressed in the reinterpretation that, from different points of view, cultural and context, the invited artists make of them.

The proper names responsible for working magic in the courtyards of the city are the Chinese artist Alfie Lin ; Mexicans Alberto Arango and Ramiro Guerrero (Cosmos Flowers) ; British Robert Hornsby (In Water Flowers) ; the Spanish Isabel Marias (Elisabeth Blumen) ; Korean Wona Bae and Australian Charlie Lawler (Loose ** Leaf )** ; the Ukrainian Natasha Lisitsa and the American Daniel Schultz (Waterlily Pond) ; the French patrick nadeau ; and the belgian Thomas De Bruyne .

Their interventions can be enjoyed in the patios of the Antonio Gala Foundation, the Municipal Souk, the Tourism Delegation, the Bullfighting Museum, the Palacio de Orive, the Posada del Potro, the Archaeological Museum and Vimcorsa.

An international jury will be in charge of appointing the winners , who will receive three prizes endowed with 60,000, 40,000 and 20,000 euros.
