More than 100 artists will change the face of the neighborhood
Malasana , epicenter of cool par excellence, it changes its face again with the arrival of spring. The guilty? The 100 artists who will participate in Paint Malasaña!, who will be from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, insufflating new life to more than a hundred commercial and street spaces of the Madrid neighborhood.
Among the list of those chosen by We are Malasana Y Madrid Street Art Project coloring the walls meet top notch artists with street trajectory, but also illustrators, graphic designers and studio painters, such as Parsec!, Jonipunto, Angel Toren, Margalef, Nuriatoll or Cova Ríos.

The day will be especially interesting to be able to see them work live, but in addition, there will also be live artistic demonstrations, body painting, a Photography contest in which anyone can participate... Likewise, the local Velarde 14 will become the official headquarters of the event, developing different activities throughout the weekend.
Parallel to the official section of ¡Pinta Malasaña!, whose artists will choose to three cash prizes of up to 1,600 euros , Mahou, organizer of the event, will coordinate the Mahou Young Talents Award . In it they will compete, for an award of 300 euros and another four of 200, different graffiti artists under 35 years old residing in the Community of Madrid. His mission? Intervene the 20 bar closures from the Malasaña and Conde Duque area.
