A concept comes to fruition when it is communicated directly and explicitly. A visual effect leaves its mark when it comes out loud and clear. And the new hotels in Ibiza, Cubanito and Paradiso, are the faithful proof of this.
We were used to keep linking Ibiza with minimalist chill out or hippieism taken to the maximum power, but it is curious to see how a new hotel concept is beginning to shape things and adapt to a new traveler style. To a new generation of guests willing to listen to a different speech.
That is where the hotel group ** Concept Hotel Group ** comes in, who have wanted to make a difference by swimming against the tide of what the rest is doing. The last one they have ventured to tell –after having narrated the tropicalism of Tropicana Ibiza Suites or the rock & roll of Santos Ibiza Suites, his first hotel and one of the first to set trends on the island– is that of Cubanito, a four-minute walk from Cala Gració, which has not yet opened but from May, promises to become the place that Instagram will love.

"The idea was to create a hotel product where Cuba could be experienced up close to continue with the line of the rest of the hotels we have on the island: pastel colors, Art Deco architecture and a cheerful, fresh and colorful concept", says Diego, excited about the place where each one of the details and each space of the hotel pays tribute to an area of Cuba.
"The rooms on the ground floor pay homage to mythical gambling dens such as La Bodeguita or El Floridita, the first to the keys and beaches, the second to its towns, the rooftop to the Malecón –for the great 180-degree sunset–, and the lobby to Buena Vista Social Club, with a jukebox from the 60s with Cuban music like mambo or cha cha chá", Diego confirms to Traveler.es.

And since two are better than one, Cubanito is in good company, since from June another project joins him. A fantasy in pink that will make the occasional mouth drop in amazement. And of envy.
It is located in the bay of San Antonio, near Cala Conta and Cala Bassa, two of the most beautiful coves on the island. At the moment the visual advances are some (very successful) renders, which specify the vision that in just a few months it will open its doors under the name of Paradiso and whose commitment is focused on art.
"We have had the curator and artist Iñaqui Domingo and the director Diana Kunst, who are in charge of the Art Room, a work of art in each room by artists from different disciplines, the art gallery, artists' micro-residences, exhibitions and a long etcetera", they advance us from the Concept Hotel group.
Hotel Paradiso (Ibiza)
Its second most powerful attraction has to do with its two swimming pools, a pink oasis that promises to liven up the most popular Ibiza afternoons in the summer of 2018.
An idea that came up together with the Ilmiodesign designers. It was destined in 2015 for the Tropicana hotel, but when they were left with the desire, they chose to award it to Paradiso, using a pale pink tile that is unique in the market and protected by a beach watcher-type booth that will act as a bar and space for the DJ.

Although there is more. And this is going to please those who are dying to stay at this hotel but can't afford it. To them and to those who fancy a bit of free exhibitionism. Never better said, because in the lobby they will place the Zero Suite, which can only be booked through their website and in which the client can sleep for free.
The trick? Being a transparent cube, it can be seen during your stay by other clients. A kind of performance in which everyone wins .
