After its premiere last summer, the hotel W Ibiza continues to vibrate strongly in Santa Eulalia del Río under the motto “white heat, boho beat”. We go into it with high expectations and a single warning: we are not going to want to get out of it.
First impression: bohemian luxury, laid-back sophistication, playful elegance... or straight spirit W, letter that greets us at the entrance dotted with flowers, anticipating a type of hospitality that will accompany us throughout the stay and that will ensure that that smile that has just been drawn on our face is not erased at any time.

The reception area presents a pattern that is repeated throughout the hotel and whose objective is make it clear from the first moment that, inside and out, this is pure Ibiza.
Let's start with the color palette: turquoise, yellow, sand, orange, pale pink... Tones reminiscent of the incredible sunsets on the island, the waves of the sea, the hippy markets and the fields and orchards of the interior.
Yes, you're sitting on the couch in the lobby of a five-star hotel, but everything around you screams: “a five star Ibiza!” -just look at the pool to that your feet begin to dance alone to the sound of the music, whose volume goes up at the same time that the sun goes down–.

Design and style: W Ibiza combines the spirit of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan Ibiza with its hippie and bohemian heritage to find the perfect mix of color, joy and fun.
The architecture and interior design studio Baranowitz + Kronenberg has been in charge of completely reversing the previous structure based on a simple but effective inspiration: the flower power.
The colors and textures breathe the essence of Ibiza and are distributed throughout the hotel generating a relaxed atmosphere that does not lose an iota of sophistication, but at the same time manages to create welcoming and attractive spaces, both private and common.
The sun's rays enter and flow everywhere leaving large doses of good vibrations in their wake. Charged with positive energy, we crossed the entrance and the hall until we reached the W Lounge, an amphitheater whose polished concrete steps rest on colorful cushions in pastel shades and where our eyes go directly to the instagrammable swing that hangs from the ceiling.
The awnings on the terraces – a gradient where orange and yellow give way to green and blue – take over from the interiors and help to continue creating that atmosphere of five-star fun and eclectic luxury that characterize the W brand.
W-Lounge
Location: the W Ibiza is located in Santa Eulalia del Rio (on the eastern coast of Ibiza), where he once stood the old Orquídea aparthotel, although it has little to do with that building from the 80s, except because, wherever you look, the sea is present. And it is one of the few five-star hotels on the island on the beachfront, right on the seafront of this town located 15 minutes from the city of Ibiza.
A privileged location where there are, and not only because of its proximity to the sea, but because in 15-20 minutes you can plant yourself in the spectacular coves of the north, such as Xarraca, Xuclar and San Vicente; head west half an hour to splash around in Cala Comte and watch the sunset It's Vedra ; or plant yourself in less than 10 minutes in paradises like Cala Martina and Cala Llonga.

Breakfast: Possibly one of our favorite moments of any Traveler trip, hotel breakfasts! At W Ibiza, breakfast is served in the La Llama restaurant, with views of the pool and the sea. Waiting for us at the buffet a large assortment of fresh fruit, cold cuts, muesli, oatmeal, jams, toast and even a potato omelette!
Don't forget to take a look at the menu, which includes eggs in the style you prefer (Benedict, Florentine or Royale), an appetizing toast with poached egg, avocado and cherry tomato or a sweet French toast with fresh fruit and creme fraiche. The coffee will surprise you (sparklingly speaking).

First, the Wet Deck, with direct access to the beach and surrounded by palm trees, It has two swimming pools, Balinese beds, semi-submerged loungers and a bar. Don't forget to say hello to the hotel mascot: a cheerful pink flamingo and he will be happy to be your float.
