Fascinated since he was a child by the possibilities that capturing moments in images offered him, Daniel Kordan has ended up working in landscape photography. This Russian organized a month-long road trip to the Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt desert in the world, to observe the stars and photograph them , they tell us in My Modern Met .
The car became his spaceship
"There are not so many places in the world where you can enjoy a completely black sky" Kordan explains. In fact, the darkness of it reaches such a point that at night the participants in this adventure could not see anything, only feel the rocking of the car. "It seemed that we were floating in space" he jokes.
This journey led them to travel between 4,000 and 5,000 meters above sea level, with the consequent difficulties in moving and breathing. It took Kordan about five days to acclimatize, which he used to think about possible approaches and views to capture. Judging by the spectacular result, we can say that the reflection paid off.
