Its inhabitants will be in charge of teaching us the charm of their towns, through trade, gastronomy and heritage, thanks to 'Burgos Thrills'.
The empty spain is a recurring theme in our current debates, but to take action on the matter, we must move from theory to practice. That is why the Burgos Provincial Council has made protagonists of the project its most unknown rural areas , What Belorado, Briviesca, Medina de Pomar, Salas de los Infantes or Villarcayo, among a long list.

For those visitors whose availability allows them to enjoy a holiday in abundance, 'Burgos thrills' has prepared complete experiences that cover several locations and are joined by the same thread.
With medieval challenge , we wake up in Covarrubias, in the Yasmin Palace Hotel and in an atmosphere of medieval legends. From there, we will travel to Puentedura to put our knowledge to the test in its Exterior Escape Room and, once the riddles are solved, we will go a Lerma , where Ruvive Tienda Delicatessen awaits us with a delicious Arlanza wine tasting.
The most sensory medieval takes us to Penaranda douro . There, we will have the opportunity to learn about its heritage, with a guided tour that takes us through the Avellaneda Palace, the former collegiate church of Santa Ana, the La Cárcel underground cellar and the Peñaranda de Duero Castle. After the walk, we will celebrate with a Ribera de Duero wine tasting.
In A Cántaros, a ceramic craftswoman will introduce us to a workshop of experiences with clay . And fulfilled the creative extravagance, we will go to the old 12th century Jewish synagogue , to enjoy a themed dinner in its underground cellar.

For those who like to experiment, with Beekeeping & Alchemy they will be able to put themselves in the shoes of an authentic beekeeper in Carcedo de Bureba. There you can visit the apiaries and take out a honeycomb . That effort will be worth it later, when they can taste it together with the local cheeses. The plan is completed in Poza de la Sal, where they will meet its salt pans, its castle or the Kingdom of Castile distillery.
Those who want relaxation and nature will opt for Eco Farm & Wellness . A walk watching the goats graze from the Santa Gadea ecological farm, in the Manzanedo Valley, after which the master cheesemaker will teach the process of making the cheeses: they will be able to taste them and take them home. To end? A relaxing treatment in Villarcayo and aerial yoga in Medina de Pomar.
The kitesurf that we mentioned before, joins the visit to the Eco-Parque Balcón of the Merindades, in bridgedey , a town recently incorporated into the Association of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spain.
